10/30/10 forever

As a way to increase my lung capacity and get my lymph system moving and working properly, I’m taking deep breaths. Breathing as follows: 10 deep breaths, held for 30 seconds, 10 times a day. I’ll be increasing the time holding my breath as I get in better shape.

Why would I think that my lymphatic system needs a helping hand? As we workout, our body produces lactic acid, toxins are released from our cells, dead cells and blood proteins are hanging around when we don’t want them too.  Our lymph system works in harmony with our blood by removing these things from our body. The only ‘pump’ our bodies have for the lymph system is the muscular movement which is created by breathing.

I don’t have to consciously make time for breathing, whenever I think about it, I take a few deep breaths.
