Sit up

Don’t just sit there, sit up. I just finished a book on posture. I think it was called Posture (I thought it was about a peacock). One of the points I think about when I’m just sitting around is: Sit up. The way our bodies are made and balance is it allows us to sit in position without leaning back. Try it. Your back straightens up, you feel more alert and your breathing is easier.

Our hips are hinges. The only difference between standing and sitting, is our hips (hinges) are bent. Since we don’t need to lean back against anything while standing, we don’t need anything while sitting either. Though I’m continually practicing sitting up (for better posture), I don’t count them in my total amount of sit-ups on the right sidebar ———->
